Found this insect in the garage wasn't too sure what it is... Any help please?.. Doesn't seem native, I live in Bristol, UK... Thanks

I think this is an ichneumonid wasp. If so there are plenty of UK natives - have a look here - although they do often go unoticed it seems!

From the photo I'd say this could be Amblyteles armatorious although I can't be sure. Some genreal info about this group of wasps here if you are interested
