I didn't get any of my answers questioned about the Triassic Kraken. Just to be clear: I know the palaeontological community is skeptical about the kraken idea. Just as I am very skeptical and think of it as very unlikely. I therefore am looking clear answers (read: debunking) to the statements made by Fastovsky and Seilacher:

"The vertebral array is both hydrodynamically unstable and could not have formed by passive collapse of a vertebral column because the vertebrae are out of order."

"this ichthyosaur bone arrangement "has never been observed at other localities"

Answers much appreciated,

Thanks
