Hey;
how can cells which lost their cell wall (peptidoglycan) and live with it's protoplasma?
i mean, if we put a gram (+) bacteria in a isotonic solution, they lost their peptidoglycan walls.
however like Thermoplasmas in archea, don't have cell walls and still live
but how can a cell live with just protoplasma if it lost it's cell wall?

thanks in advance

The cells are still protected by the plasma membrane.
