Hello,
I live in Washington State, approximately 15 years ago I found a claw on a beach in the northern part of the state. It was among the drift wood and other debris that the water had over time pushed onto shore. I would like to know what type of claw it is. I would appreciate very much any help you can give in the identifying process. Thank you for your time.
Sincerly, Brenda Aubol
Hi Brenda,
superficially it resembles a black bear claw, but without a scale bar or a more detailed image of the structure it's very difficult to tell.
