can u give me a prediction which is about the effect of lipase on milk concentration using 3 types of milk. my two variables are substrate concentration which is milk and three types of milk which are full fat, skimmed and semi-skimmed.
thank you very much

Dear Kashfi,

Lipase is any enzyme, which works to break down lipids, which in this experiment is the fat in the milk. Enzyme are catalysts, special molecules that help a chemical reaction go faster (but are not used up themselves in the reaction).

Many factors affect how quickly enzymes get the job done, the most obvious being how much work there is to do! Knowing that full fat, semi-skimmed, and skimmed milk have different concentrations of fats can you hypothesize the effect of lipase on each one?
