Who would win in a fight to the death? A fullgrown male silverback gorilla, or a full grown male Grizzly Bear? The Bears definatly got weight and power, but the gorilla has intelligence and speed and huge arm span with the capability to strangle and tear the jugular out of Grizzly's throat.

My bet would be on the bear. It is a powerful predator going against a powerful herbivore. Bears are faster than most people think and they are quite intelligent. The bear has the advantage of having better offensive weaponry and the strength to back them up.
Not saying the gorilla couldn't win, but I'd give it to the bear 2 falls out of 3.
