Hi this is in reply to a question about jelly shaped eggs on the norfolk coast line, i was there 3 days ago and they were along the Gt yarmouth beach and hemsby beach. Hundreds of them in clusters, i had to discover what they were as i had never seen anything like it before and this is i believe what you saw too http://www.panoramio.com/photo/29007004 They are called Sea Gooseberry (Pleurobrachia pileus). The ones on the beach did not have any tenticles but apparently they pull them into their centers.
