When did the pterosaurs live?
The pterosaurs were basically around at the same time as the dinosaurs. The first ones we know of are from the Late Triassic period about 225 million years ago, with the last coming at the end of the Late Cretaceous about 65 million years ago. They died out with most of the dinosaurs (except birds of course) in the KT extinction.
