Hello there,
I found this insect in the UK, Derbyshire. Not sure what it is, whether it's a moth or a beetle. I've spent the last hour trying to ID it to no avail, any help would be appreciated.

Hi Helene,
This is a newly emerged moth, although as the wings have not been 'inflated', I don't know what species it is...
It's a female Ghost moth, Hepialis humuli - as Dave says, it hasn't yet expanded its wings, hence the odd appearance!
