I recently found this skull in the plantation near the River, Sundays River to be exact. It's 11 cm in length and +- 4,4 cm in height. Unfortunately, I did not recover the lower jaw set. This skull has very large eye sockets, a flat head, no visible teeth and a single condyle just below the foramen magnum. I believe it could belong to either a bird or fish.

Hi Kayleigh,

It's definitely fish. I wish I could give you a species identification, but I'm afraid I'm drawing a blank at the moment. The rounded and flat rostral tip suggests it may be something like a Smallmouth Yellowfish.
