Does anyone know if these carniverous plants are actually edible, and does it matter which part of the plant you eat?
It depends on what you mean by edible. They are not - to my knowledge - poisonous to humans (or cats, dogs etc), but I doubt very much that they are good to eat which is how the word is often meant. Of course if you were to eat one there is also a chance you might be a mouthful of partially digested fly - probably not dangerous but hardly appetising either.
