Emma-Louise Nicholls
My field is palaeobiology, I specialise in fossil sharks. My current research is looking into the patterns of co-habiting eco-groups of selachian species across temporal (Albian to Maastrichtian) and geographical (Northern African faunas vs. European) planes.
This research will finish this summer after which the aim is to look at biomechanics of modern shark jaws in order to constrain a model which will allow me to elucidate data regarding fossil shark skeletons. That is the aim anyway!
